This was almost exactly like Noodles & Co., and I LOVE Noodles & Co. The spicy Cajun pasta with whole wheat penne and tofu was absolute perfection. Excellent variety of dishes.

Great quick service restaurant for a fast lunch or casual dinner. Every time I been here I've been impressed with the portion size and taste. I would not get a starter with your meal if you are eating by yourself unless you plan on taking food home with you. With that being said the lettuce wrap is incredible and a meal within itself. I also recommend any of the Asian dishes, but especially the Thai Peanut. The noodles melt in your mouth.

I was definitely surprised at the variety of noodle dishes - American, Italian, and Asian. I wasn't expecting authentic or amazing food due to the style of restaurant. The food is simple, fast, and comes in a decent portion size which is a plus. Overall, the Pad Thai Noodle dish was bland and overly greasy. Also, what's with the bread sticks in a Thai dish? Again, I wasn't expecting an authentic Thai dish, but more cilantro, scallions, bean sprouts, and peanuts would be good. My lime wedge was very, very small. It wasn't spicy at all, which I was expecting from the tiny icon. If I go back, I will try the Spicy Cajun noodle dish.

Pretty good for pasta when you want a quick meal. They offer a variety of salads if pasta isn't your thing. My favorite salad is the spinach cranberry; it has just the right flavor with a spicy dressing.

One of my favorite restaurants in Birmingham! The Thai dishes are my favorite! I suggest the Thai Peanut with cheese sticks for an app. Seating inside and outside.

The Nothing But Noodles in my neighborhood in AZ closed and I was thrilled to find this one while on vacation in AL as I have always liked their food. What a disappointment! We ordered the Asian chicken salad and the spicy cucumber. Both were very watered down. Either the lettuce wasn't dry before they put it together or the dressing (way too much of it!) had been put on well in advance and the salad had been sitting somewhere. Either way it was yuck. Only reason for the 2 stars is that the breadsticks were good. Would not go to this place again.

Nothing but Noodles is perfect predictable food. When you need carbs they deliver them. Man friend gets buttered noodles or the pesto noodles while my go to's are spicy Japanese noodles, Pad Thai, or Southwest chipotle noodles. We do call ahead. It's always ready when they say it will be and super hot! As in be careful don't put it on your lap you will get burned. Also they are part of Delta's and Southwest's rewards program. So we earn miles/point while not having to cook. It's a happy situation.

I thought that this restaurant might be more along the lines of an Asian noodle shop, but that is a fault of my own. It's good for what it is, and it isn't bad, but I was a bit underwhelmed. There was nothing particularly great about this place, but there wasn't anything particularly bad either. The noodles were good, and the tea was okay. Going here, it's more about the company you bring rather than focusing on the food you're ordering even though it isn't bad. It feels slightly like a mall cafeteria.

This place is a solid three bordering on a 4 star review. The place is clean and the food was good. The reason I don't give it 4 stars is bcz it has a fast food feel to it (much like panera) and I stood in front of the cashier as she turned and walked away from me and never looked back. It's hard to believe she didn't know I was coming considering there is a door bell that alerts the every time the door opens. She turned and walked away- never to look back to see that I was standing there ready to place my order. I stood there for what felt like forever, but I'm sure was likely about 60 seconds when a nice woman walks out of the office and proceeds to take my order. I asked her for recommendations and she offered one from all the different cuisines - Asian, American, and Italian. I decided to try the spicy chipotle with chicken. She said it was one of her favorites. The food came out very quickly and was piping hot. I asked for extra cheese and bread and once I got my food, I quickly realized that I probably would have been fine without the extras. The portion was very generous. I am a pasta lover and will usually eat my entire helping and then pick off my hubby's plate, but this helping was so generous that I actually had leftovers. I really enjoyed this place and think it is a great, inexpensive, and quick family place to stop off and have a week night dinner or lunch.

I think any restaurant that serves multicultural foods is always going to have multiple levels of criticism. If you come here expecting that you won't get authentic pasta, Asian noodles, or American dishes, then you might fair well. Otherwise, their food is mainly all carbs, all grease, with maybe some room for actual flavor. At a catering event provided to the pharmacists in my department, I got to sample everything and we all felt our heart gained a pound afterwards and it was difficult to breathe. The prices are reasonable. The restaurant is very family-friendly. I just wish there wasn't so much grease in their noodles.

$12 for bland, overly oily, lumped and mushy appearing shrimp scampy. The shrimp was with minimal flavor as if they forgot the seasoning. Poor presentation like a a toddler just threw it on a plate with a cold tasteless breadstick and a tiny single lemon wedge that was half dry and lightly brown. $7 lettuce wraps with flavorless watered down peanut sauce and once again...bland and mushy chicken. Until they learn to cook a decent meal, i would advise going next door to maki fresh or elsewhere. I would have given 2 stars if not for the overpriced options.

I've been to this cheerful place three times now, and each time I've been very pleased with my selection -- NONE of which contained noodles! The BBQ Chicken Salad is spicy and rich in flavor, and reportedly just over 200 calories (if you believe the restaurant's nutrition guide). The Thai Curry Beef and Vegetables comes with a fresh wedge of lettuce to encourage you to make lettuce wraps out of the savory mix of peppers, peanuts, scallions and carrots. And the Spicy Cucumber Chicken Salad is a testimony to the skillful use of a chopper/blender to prepare heavenly-light meals that leave you satisfied but not overstuffed. Next time I'll try a pasta dish! Deciding what to order from their huge menu is the biggest challenge here, but the nice thing is that many of their entrees are in the 250-550 calorie range.

Got the pasta pomodoro. Wasn't really a pomodoro as it had a heavy creamy sauce. Lacked flavor. Tasted like cream sauce and under ripe tomatoes. No basil taste. Wayyyy too much sauce on the plate.

Located in the same shopping plaza as Whole Foods on Hwy 280, the wife and I had the pleasure of checking Nothing but Noodles out this past weekend with some friends, and were pretty impressed with the food here! As the name suggests, the main offering consists of noodles; but the variety of noodle dishes available dispels any notions that one would become bored with the place quickly (or at all - check out the menu on their website). There's pretty much something for everyone - Italian-centric options such as Marinara or Margherita pasta, Asian-based offerings like Thai Peanut (which I tried, and was delicious) and Sesame Lo Mein, "Specialty" dishes like Chicken Pomodoro, and even kid-attractions like Mac & Cheese. And with each noodle dish you have the option of including meat to add even more to the flavor and portion. For those hoping for something besides noodles, look no further - appetizers (such as Potstickers or Mozzerella cheese-stuffed breadsticks [which are great]) and desserts are available if you're so inclined (and are not immediately drawn to "Yogurt Mountain" several hundred footsteps away, in the same plaza [just a heads-up]). And as far as beverages are concerned, beer is offered as well as several fountain drinks and several varieties of teas. Overall, Nothing but Noodles has my attention and, judging from the constant influx of patrons during our visit there, the attention of the rest of the city. The location is wonderful, the food fantastic, and the service pretty great. It's definitely worth your while to give it a try... and a second... and a third... You'll love it.

Nothing but Noodles is a moderately priced restaurant featuring Asian, American, Italian noodle dishes and soups and salads. The food is good if you are looking for heavy, carb loaded meals drenched in cream sauce, cheese, dressings, or butter. Most everything is calorie laden. My BBQ salad had added soggy onion straws all over it, as if about a half gallon of dressing wasn't enough. The place is open and airy. Seating can accommodate groups well. Noodles serves fountain drinks, a nice variety of teas, and bottled beer and wine. This place is probably great for the 8th grade baseball team or your sorority sister who just got jilted and wants some comfort food. I gave it two stars, but again, if you like your heavy in a form other than McDonald's, you might just like it.

The name of the place is a little deceptive--after all, there are no noodles in the Thai Lettuce Wraps. (Try them for a low carb meal). The dishes are mostly pasta-based, but definitely not lacking in variety. The soups are quite tasty also. Right now, I'm enjoying my first bowl of Chicken-Noodle Soup here. Excellent--fresh ingredients and not over salted, like so much typically American staples. Always a win at NOthing But Noodles.

Tried their pad thai noodles nothing extraordinary. Very average place they need to focus more on either Asian or Italian its hard to have best of both worlds.

I love this place. Sometimes, I just get a craving for noodles and this place has it all. I haven't tried anything that I didn't like. The staff is friendly and they are so accommodating when it comes to picky eaters like myself. It's moderately priced but I think for the food, it is well worth it. Same price as a greasy hamburger meal but a thousand times better.

I've been pretty pleased coming here. Since I generally eat vegetarian, I can't comment on the meat, but the veggies are usually fresh and the pasta adequately cooked. The menu could probably expand slightly without becoming unwieldy, but is satisfactory, and the prices are appropriate. As anyone with sense can grasp, it has too many carbs for me to come frequently, but it's a nice quick grab before a night out, especially if picky eaters are joining. My favorite is the spicy Japanese noodles (well balanced in flavors). I've tried the Mac and cheese (not very impressed) and the spicy Cajun (too much sauce) as well.

I first ate here about 3 years ago. I don't remember the particulars of the experience, just that there was nothing compelling enough about the experience for me to want to go back. I walked in today by accident; I had meant to go to a restaurant next door. I figured I may as well try again. I got the Thai Peanut. As another reviewer mentioned, you don't go to a place like this for authenticity, and I thought my expectations were reasonable. What I got, though, was not good at all. I'd ordered it to go; if I had been at the restaurant, I would have brought it back and asked if I could get something else, which I don't think I've ever done at a restaurant. I don't consider myself overly sensitive to MSG, but either it was laden with that, or, judging from the nutritional info, way too much salt/sodium for it to be something I could eat. Given the huge menu, there are likely dishes that would work for me, but today was not my day. There were some positives to my experience; the staff seemed exceptionally friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is pleasant.

Surprisingly good food. I ate here when visiting folks from Seattle. Prices are ok but good portions. Had Cajun noodles, good and spicy

I have only had the spicy Japanese noodles from here, so far. But I am a big fan of this dish. I had it last week and am already craving it again...

This place is fast, cheap, and very veggie friendly. Their selection runs the span of Italian, Asian, and American with the unifying theme of, you guessed it, noodles. None of it is exactly traditional, but it's a good quick lunch and vegetarian friendly because the menu is set up such that you pick an item and then have the option of adding meat or tofu.

My honey & I ate here on a date. It was good but we both wished we added grilled chicken to our dishes. Just need the extra protein in a load of carbs to fill you up. Actually, he was still starving after! A little pricey for what you get. But yummy pasta, salads & soups.

RULE #1: Always check your order esp. if you are doing carry out!! Food four stars...service-well there is always one to spoil the bunch. I just had the most horrible phone experience at this location over my order not being taken correctly over the phone. I patiently repeated my order three times because it was obvious that the order taker did not understand my English well. This was not the problem..the problem is the manager who handled my call to inform them of my incorrect order. Hanging up on a customer and stating that "you do not give a "f" who the customer reports you to" should never be a managerial option. I am sure the owner would not like his business being managed this way. Great business never last long if they have poor customer service!! This was a first and a shame since I drive over 30 minutes for the good food.

My Gal' and I are regulars here, and every time we have come here it has been great. The only negative I found is that their Pasta Pomodoro claims to have a 'creamy' white garlic sauce.. Yeah no. It was more like soapy water. Just nasty in all honesty. Oh well. Hopefully it was just a one time slip-up in the kitchen.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
